The Art of Being

Acupuncture has been practiced for thousands of years. It is based on the principle that the human body circulates Qi, blood, and nutrients. This gives the body the ability to heal injuries and maintain balance. Acupuncture needles are inserted into specific acupuncture points during treatment to establish a healthy flow of blood to the affected area(s) so that the body can start repairing itself into a balanced state of Qi, blood, and nutrients. Acupuncture is clinically proven with high success rates for various health problems. It has many health benefits and it is a drug-free therapy with virtually no side effects. The needles used are very thin, sterile, and disposable and the insertion is painless.  Acupuncture can also be used as a preventative measure, to maintain balance of the body, mind, spirit and keep you as healthy as possible.

Acupuncture Session

Acupuncture

Most people rest deeply whilst having acupuncture and feel very relaxed after the session. There is nothing in particular that you need to do or not do afterward, just do what feels good to you. In the days after the treatment, you will start to notice the positive effects the session has on your health and wellbeing. The effects are accumulative, which means that after more sessions the effects tend to last longer. We will discuss during your first session what is to be expected in your particular case and how many sessions will be needed.
